Movie Review: Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups

If your kids are like mine, the closer it gets to Christmas, the more they love watching Christmas movies because I think it builds the anticipation and just makes them all the more giddy- not sure if that's a good thing, though... then we deal with the "how many days until Christmas" question that I'm pretty sure every parent that celebrates Christmas gets tired of hearing.

Well, here's another movie available to show your kids this holiday season- and it's tolerable for adults!  Released Nov. 20, "Disney delivered a heartwarming and hilarious adventure starring a brand new litter of the most adorable talking Great Pyrenees pups in SANTA PAWS 2: THE SANTA PUPS.

The North Pole has a new litter of playful pups! However, when the frisky foursome—Hope, Jingle, Charity and Noble—practically destroy Santa’s Workshop with their mischievous gamboling, they realize the best way to prove that they’re responsible enough to become Santa’s Helpers is to show how well they can spread the Christmas spirit all by themselves. With help from a magic crystal, they start granting everyone’s wishes. But their good intentions backfire when one unhappy boy asks that Christmas go away forever! With his wish impetuously fulfilled, and the joyous spirit quickly disappearing from the planet, Mrs. Claus and the pups have to find a way to reverse the spell—or risk losing Christmas forever."

We are big animal fans in my house, so this series of movies is great!  They do tend to get a bit cheesy if you watch them back to back, but luckily since they come out with them for holiday times, I don't have to watch them back to back.

Bottom line.  Cute movie, kids love it.  Tolerable for adults.  I'd say that it would probably be best for ages 3 and up since it's not animated, non speaking children probably wouldn't like it.
