Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue Blu-Ray Review

Spell it with me now... Tinker... Bell... Tinker Bell... not Tinkerbell, lol. Okay, now that I've gotten that out of the way (I seem to never be able to remember it myself) let's move on!

My daughter is in love with Tinker Bell. Her first Halloween, she chose to dress up as Tinker Bell. Last year she opted to go as one of Tinker Bell's friends (whichever wears purple- you got me.) And just in time, once again, Disney has released Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, an all new adventure that has Tink meeting her very first human. (Is it just a coincidence they coincide it with Halloween? Hmmmmm...)

"What would you do if you met a fairy? Witness the historic moment when Tinker Bell first meets a human being, and it’s not who you think.

Years before meeting Wendy and the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell met Lizzy, a little girl with a steadfast belief in the power of pixie dust and the magic land of fairies. During the fairies’ summer visit to the flowering meadows of England, two very different worlds unite for the first time and Tink develops a special bond with a curious child in need of a friend. As her fellow fairies launch a daring rescue, Tinker Bell takes a huge risk, putting her own safety and the future of all fairykind in jeopardy.

Experience Disney’s astonishing all-new movie about the true power of faith and friendship. Bursting with excitement and imagination, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue is magical entertainment for the whole family. You might even learn to fly."

And of course you know my opinion on this movie, but I'll remind those that might not know- if it makes my kids happy, it makes me happy! And my daughter LOVE LOVE LOVES Tinker Bell. My son, not so thrilled and at almost 3, I often hear him object to his sister's choice of movie, such as, "No BARBIE!" But, I've watched it with my daughter and it is definitely fun! I'd like to think men would watch it with their daughters as well, but I won't give them that much credit.

Family Time Factor: Can be enjoyed by all, but more likely girls who aren't bitter about life yet, lol.

MOTR Grade: A

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Resuce is now available on Blu-Ray and DVD!!!

If you are planning to get a Blu-Ray anytime in the feature, you should definitely get this as a combo pack.  It comes with the Blu-Ray and DVD.  That way your kids can watch the DVD now and you can save the Blu-Ray for later on.  If you already have a Blu-Ray player, you can take the DVD on trips with you.

And watching it in Blu-Ray is always spectacular! The picture quality from Disney has already improved so much over the decades, but Blu Ray makes the animation amazing! And this Blu-Ray includes several featurettes, unseen footage, a music video and more! 1080p High Def, English 5.1 DTS-HD master Audio, English SDH/French/Spanish subtitles.
