Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam Blu-ray/DVD Combo Review

Raise your hand if you'd survive never hearing the words "Jonas Brothers" again?  *notice my hand is raised*  Well, also notice the title is "The FINAL Jam."  Music to my ears, lol.

My almost-five year old has only recently begun watching non-cartoon shows.  Her favorite is iCarly.  So, I thought she might like this movie.  We started watching it together and I figured she'd like it because of the music.  Unfortunately, it was not a hit for either of us.  She got bored, I got nauseous, this was by no stretch of the imagination as good as the likes of High School Musical.  It was 3 guys who couldn't act their way out of a paper sack and Demi Lovato, who is adorable, but should never hook her wagon to these guys again.

The acting was cheesy, the music fell flat and I will never get that 104 minutes of my life back.

The plot (for those still interested) bring Mitchie and her guy friends back to Camp Rock for another summer of rocking out.  Unfortunately they have some competition in a new camp nearby that is threatening Camp Rock's All-Star status.  Man, whatever will they do?!?!?!  And will their hair stay in place the whole time?  I know, but now you have to find out for yourself.

Family Time Factor: maybe tween girls might like it.

MOTR Grade: D
