I don't proofread my posts before I publish them... cause I keep my thoughts au naturale.

Super Busy Lady Alert!

I must apologize for my lack of witty or interesting posts as of late. For some odd reason I have either been super busy or super popular. In the past couple weeks I've had something I had to do almost every day. Add that to my horrible memory and you have a woman who doesn't find the time for an original blog post.

I appreciate those that come back on a regular basis and everyone who likes reading my movie reviews.

Grad school orientation week starts the 17th for me, so hopefully I will find time to keep up with my blog after that and I will of course let you know how it goes! I am most nervous about all the books I have to have, which means they probably expect me to read them as well. I used to LOVE reading, but now it's a rarity and I usually have to force myself to start the book. Hopefully as my kids get older I can break that trend and take up reading as a for fun hobby once again.

I had a good friend from high school visit with me several times last week and it felt so nice to catch up! It was like we were still good friends, despite falling out of touch for several years. And for some reason my phone has been off the hook lately between texts, family calling and random telemarketers whom I wish evil thoughts upon. Then I have another good friend coming to town later this week or next, I'm supposed to start helping my father-in-law with horse riding lessons on Wednesday evenings and then school will be starting.

I welcome a challenge and love being busy!

Last thing I wanted to say was that although it irks me when people talk behind my back and it also irks me when people judge me, I am capable of letting it roll off my back and not taking it personally because we are all different, we are all entitled to our opinions and I like myself and am a happy person, so I don't feel the need to dwell on things that are out of my control.

Thanks guys!

Much love,

hammy

  1. Thanks for the update. Sounds like you are in demand! You are a popular girl. How fun that you are helping your father in law with riding lessons. I love ridding, it's been too long. Now I'm too fat and don't want to endanger a horse by smothering them under my weight. lol

  2. I don't think it's possible to be too fat to ride a horse... unless you weigh more than the horse or it's a pony! Plus, think about the fact that sometimes two people sit on a horse at a time.
