The Simpsons Season 12 DVD Review

There's a reason why The Simpsons is the longest running animated television series in history- it's funny and it never gets old! Between Bart's antics, Homer's idiotic moments, Marge's neurotic episodes, Maggie's first words in 20 years and Lisa's brainiac bipolar moments, The Simpsons keeps on churning out one hilarious episode after another.

If you've never seen an episode of the Simpsons, that tells me that you either don't have cable, don't get local channels, are Amish or live under a rock. (Disclaimer: No offense to the Amish, they are good people! Not that they'd be on a computer.) But for those few weirdos out there, I'll explain it to you: A family consisting of mom and dad Marge and Homer have 3 children, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. (last name Simpson) They live in Springfield and interact with many a character, whether it be Moe at the bar, Chief Wiggum, the bumbling policeman, kookie religious zealout neighbor Ned Flanders or creepy Krusty the Klown, every single character has its own reason why they are fun to watch.

Season 12 contains 21 episodes and has tons of special features. With the Simpsons, you don't have to start on Season 1 to know what's going on. Every season is easy to watch and enjoyable in its own right.

Although I'm not a die-hard fan, I've seen my share of episodes from each season and can find myself chuckling though each and every one.

Family Time Factor: Although some people might say its inappropriate for kids, I personally think it can be enjoyed by every age group. Young children will appreciate that it is a cartoon and older children will find it funny as well as adults. (My daughter was 2 and loved watching South Park... hey, don't judge me!)

MOTR Grade: A

The Simpsons Season 12 is now available on DVD!!!

  1. I almost wet myself when I saw this blog. I am the BIGGEST fan of The Simpson in the world, or so I think. I have every single season (i record ones that haven't come out) but I also collect the season officially when they are released. This is a great season, as they all are. I am thrilled to know you enjoy The Simpsons and gave them a great review. I'm sad the A didn't have a + by it.. but you can't be perfect. LMAO
