Growing up, I did not get much exposure to Winnie the Pooh. Sure, I knew what the character's names were, but being the sixth in line at my house for who gets to control the remote, I often was stuck watching reruns of Bosom Buddies, Remington Steele, Mr. and Mrs. Scarecrow or finding other entertainment when sports were on.

I'm definitely not opposed to my children watching Winnie the Pooh as it is good, clean entertainment. Plus, with Halloween coming up, my daughter gets really excited about Halloween movies and books. So, I put in Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie and watched it with my 3.5 and 1.5 year olds. Both of them loved it and it held their interest. I did not find it unpleasant to watch, but found myself putting away dishes and picking up toys while it was on- not something that really holds an adults interest.

And as you know, if a cartoon gets my kids' approval, it has MOTR seal of approval as well!

Family Time Factor: I'm thinking 8 and under would be the ages that would probably sit through it.

MOTR Grade: A-

Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie is available on DVD September 1st!!!

I received the gift pack (pictured), which is an added bonus because all kids seem to love stuffed animals and it makes them more excited about getting a new movie.
