Veggie Tales: Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Noah's Umbrella DVD Review

My daughter has long been a fan of Veggie Tales- therefore, I'm a fan. (Plus I can't get the silly songs out of my head- they are so catchy!) For those unfamiliar with Veggie Tales, it is about a tomato named Bob, a cucumber named Larry and their vegetable friends who put on performances to teach children lessons and moral values. Most have Bible references and stories based off Bible scripture, but kids don't notice. They only care that it's fun and entertaining.

Minnesota Cuke has been a favorite character that Larry plays that is a take off Indiana Jones. In this adventure, Minnesota is on a search for Noah's Ark. He finds out about Noah's umbrella and wants to procure the artifact for his museum, but an evil villain wants it as well and Minnesota must thwart the no good bad guy and continue on his quest, despite his worries that he will fail. This film is supposed to teach a lesson in confidence. It also includes an all new silly song called "Sippy Cup."

Veggie Tales can do no wrong in my book. My daughter liked it, my son liked it and I thought it was cute! A must have! If you've never seen Veggie Tales, you should definitely check one out! Here is the trailer.

Family Time Factor: Probably most enjoyed by children 10 and under.
