I'm sure you've all seen me talk about this guy. And I'm sure you all think I have some girly crush on him cause I talk about him so much- you are wrong, silly monkeys!
I actually started following Chris when I looked on Twitter Grader to see who the top ranked people in Iowa were. He was one of them, so I checked him out as I was intrigued by his name. (He had me at hello, er, his moniker.)
Anyway, turns out that Chris has a HILARIOUS website where he writes letters to random companies, famous people, etc. Then he will post a reply if he receives one. Many of the things he says in the letters are completely off the wall and at times offensive, but it's so much fun! Anytime I need a pick me up, I can go to his site and it gives me a good chuckle.
Also, he is very engaging on Twitter and fun to talk to. He is very busy bashing social media "experts" and playing with his friend @mindofchester, so if he doesn't instantly reply, don't be put off. He will!
If you're not following @jackassletters, you owe it to yourself and your funny bone to do so!
You know, I get all flattered and blushy when people say nice things about me, especially since I so seldom say nice things myself!
ReplyDeleteI love having you in my twitter stream. You're genuine and engaging and get my crippled sense of humor.
This is a great idea (writing up a post about one follower). I hate the whole #followfriday thing (though I occasionally do it). I prefer to give more detailed attention to people I am suggesting people follow. I try to say why they are worth following.
I try to reply to everyone, but sometimes I don't have anything to add, and saying just, "Glad you liked it!" or "Thanks," just seems lame.
I've started a new round of letters, so hopefully I'll have new content soon!
Thanks again,
christopher....
