Changing Lanes Blu-Ray Review

Changing Lanes is a thriller starring Ben Affleck and Samuel L. Jackson that reminds us that perhaps we should be extra cautious when exhibiting road rage or think very hard when we're determining what is right and wrong.

Gavin Banek (Affleck) is a successful New York attorney with a lot on his plate. While driving erratically in a rush, he hits the vehicle owned by Doyle Gipson (Jackson.) In his rush, Banek decides to write Gipson a blank check and hurry off to where he needs to be, without a care for the fact that Gipson wants to do the right thing and call the police. Banek blows him off and leaves, but leaves behind an important document. His life continues to go downhill from there as Gipson holds his future in his hands and is very ruthless in his will to make Banek pay for his lack of common human decency.

This is the first time that Changing Lanes has been released on Blu-Ray and it is well worth it! Of course, it looks so much better in HD, but the fact that this movie has many fast paced action sequences, makes it that much more important to have it in better quality! One of the cool features is that it also has the theatrical trailer in HD. Other special features include: commentary, making of documentary, deleted scenes and an extended scene.

Family Time Factor
: This would be more of a date night movie for parents. Teenagers might enjoy it as well, but it would not appeal to young children nor should it really be watched by anyone with sensitive ears!

MOTR Grade: B-

Changing Lanes is available on Blu-Ray May 19!!!
